Top Ten Tea Towel Tricks

We get this often… How do I use a tea towel?

I understand. I don't really drink tea too much either. And aren't these too nice to use?!

We've had suggestions, photos and funny stories involving our tea towels. Here are the top ten uses we use and have been told you use them for:

  1. Slow your paper towel roll and try using a soft tea towel for drying your hands in between cooking.

  2. Cheer up a bathroom with you or your kids’ favorite story hand towel.

  3. Are you baking bread too? Tea towels are great for covering dough while rising or for wrapping up a freshly baked loaf for a friend.

  4. Framing a tea towel is likely the most creative way to use one. This makes a unique art piece for a nursery or office.

  5. Many quilters have sent me photos of using tea towels as the centerpiece of a quilt. Some have even spent hours embroidering the watercolor to make it truly an heirloom.

  6. Assemble a housewarming basket with tea towels and goodies is so easy and thoughtful.

  7. Gift wrapping a book or gift with a tea towel is very creative.

  8. The perfect gift for a teacher. I don’t think I need to explain this one!

  9. A hostess gift that’s useful and easy to keep stashed in your gift closet.

  10. We’ve received quite a few emails saying these tea towels made the perfect mother-in-law gift!

Remember to wash on cold and tumble dry to keep them in your rotation!
